The Hive Project was designed for Friends of the Earth who were looking for a nature product to offer as part of their Bee Cause campaign. Their aim was to enhance the interaction between themselves and their supporters and promote a worthy campaign.
The solution is a multi-functional hive that begins its life as packaging and is then used as a shelter for bees once taken home. It is impactful on-shelf, substantial enough as a gift and supportive for bees to nest and survive. It also contains educational material and wildflower seeds that have been selected precisely so they can be planted in different seasons and therefore allows bees to pollinate over a longer period of time.
